My char is lvl 35 and is a GM Jeweller but when i mange to save up and buy the Engraved Beryl recipes i cant seem to crit them at all. Ive tried about 9 altogether :( Should i wait until i get to lvl 45 so i can buy better tools, or is it just that im unlucky? lol

well, there's only an X% chance that you will crit (I forget what it is), but that % is per try. I think you've hit an unlucky streak. Of course, having better tools will increase the chance, but still - luck is luck.

Reminds me of crafting in Asheron's Call. No matter how high your skill, success never hit 100%, and some days, I'd fail multiple times in a row, with a 99% chance of success.
