In general we are a more mature group of players focused on enjoying the game, light role play, and a strong pursuit of the lore of Middle Earth. We encourage our members to utilize the resources we have compiled (or others like it on the Internet and elsewhere) to make character names that fit in to the setting. We feel that the normal practice of mundane names encountered on line detracts from the immersion offered by LOTRO. We also encourage “In-character” interaction when possible, that is to say if your playing a grumpy Dwarf act like one, if your a joyful careless hobbit then spread your whimsical nature (have fun with it).The point is to immerse your self in the wonderful work provided by Turbine and Mr Tolkien.
