The Summer Festival
Oger Brockhouse was stepping up
on the stage to start a dancing lesson under the Party Tree. I decided I would
learn one last dance before I headed back to Festival Grounds in Bree. A few
dance moves later and I had learned the dance of the Hobbits. Skipping a
drink for the ride this time, as I think I had enough in trying to become a
member of the Inn League. I started to head out when I realized that a
woman was planting some seeds at night. Her name was Amabel Redfern
and I told her I fancied myself as a decent farmer. She responded by saying well I have a small test for you. All I had
to do was plant some seeds and make sure they bear fruit at the Harvest Festival. Of course, I was up to the
challenge so I planted the seeds and told her I would see her in the fall. Almost totally forgetting the whole
reason I was here in the first place (I think it was all the ale), I purchased the Hobbit fireworks and set off for Bree.
Reading my map I plotted the fastest path back. Riding back to the Festival Grounds, I stopped
at Alger Hazelhurst and picked up the last
fireworks I needed for the show.
Taking the four different fireworks back over to Robert Greenverge, I handed him the set with minutes to spare. It had been a long day in deed. For all my hard work in helping him finish getting ready for the fireworks show, Robert gave me Summersday Fireworks to sit back enjoy.
Setting my fireworks off, I sat back with a nice glass of Willow Wine, some tasty Summer Pudding and watched as my fireworks filled the sky.
Enjoy the show:
