The Lore of the Blade Guide

Lore of the Blade is a Legendary Trait that every Loremaster will eventually seek out. In addition to allowing you to dual-wield sword and staff, the trait is also a powerful buff:

• Adds 300.0 to max morale
• Adds 2.0% to parry/evade chance
• Adds 15.0% to melee offense

To get the legendary trait, you need to find the Lore of the Blade Book, which is dropped by random mobs over level 39. Like other books and lore, the Book is more often dropped by humanoid mobs.

With the Book in tow, go visit Gandalf in Rivendell to begin the quest. You’ll be sent on a "distributed camping" quest (an old favorite of Turbine’s!) to find 8 pages to complete the quest.

The first 4 pages are dropped by Orcs outside Uruk Cave in Angmar. The second 4 pages are dropped by Iron Crown Necromancers in Imlad Balchorth. Expect to spend at least an hour per page camping the spawns.

Once you have the 8 pages, you can learn the new skill, which must be equipped as a Legendary Trait at a Bard.
